Example 1

1. RS row:  p3, (sl1, k1 alternately to the end of the row), p3
2. back row: k3, purl to the end of the row, k3
3.  RS row: p3, (k1, sl1 alternately to the end of the row), p3
4.  back row: k3, purl to the end of the row, k3
   repeat this 4 rows

 

Example 2

 

RS row: p3, (sl1, k1 alternately to the end of the row), p3
back row: k3, purl to the end of the row, k3
